The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bickerson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Bickerson didn't expect that.

Bickerson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jones won't allow Bickerson to sweep him here.
Bickerson controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dale Bickerson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bickerson rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Bickerson has him pressed against the cage.
Bickerson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Bickerson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bickerson fails with a takedown attempt.
Bickerson misses with a wild combination.
Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.
Jones stands up from Bickerson's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bickerson shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Papa Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dale Bickerson.
Jones drops Bickerson with a beautiful combination! Bickerson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jones is looking for the KO!
It looks like Dale Bickerson has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bickerson tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.

and Jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bickerson's guard now.

Papa Jones has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Bickerson misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bickerson wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.

Bickerson keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Bickerson circles away.
Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Bickerson misses with a wild combination.
Jones dives in and scores a takedown into Bickerson's guard.
Jones with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jones drops back looking for a leg! Bickerson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bickerson manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Bickerson's guard.
Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Bickerson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Jones advances position into side control!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Papa Jones dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dale Bickerson's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bickerson is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jones avoids the attempt from Bickerson to control.

Jones postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bickerson looks a forlorn figure.
Bickerson is in a horrible position here. Jones smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jones controlling the position easily from mount.
Jones scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bickerson is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That has opened up Dale Bickerson's cut even more.
Papa Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bickerson is breathing heavily.
Jones controlling his opponent.
Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The cut above Dale Bickerson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dale Bickerson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Papa Jones!
