Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Craig Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Picket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Craig Neil is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Neil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Picket ! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Picket looks to clinch and Neil counters with a takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Neil decides to stand back up. Neil steps back and let's Picket get back to his feet. Terry Picket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Picket wants to clinch but Neil slips to the side and Neil counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Picket looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Neil missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Neil gets to his feet. Picket looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Picket tries to clinch but Neil moves away and Neil counters with a shoot takedown. Picket fights it but they end up in guard. Neil throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Neil has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Neil working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Neil trying to control the position from guard on top but Picket is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Picket utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Picket keeping full guard, as Neil tries to pass. Neil looking to sit in guard and control but Picket gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Picket pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Neil is keeping the position for now. Neil trying to control the position.
Picket has gone for a leg lock! Neil slips out almost immediately though and dives into Picket 's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neil drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Picket manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Neil has Picket in his guard. Picket tries to free his leg and advance position but Neil is retaining full guard. Neil tries to land a sweep but no joy. Neil is trying to keep Picket in close.
Picket must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Picket preventing the sweep. Picket drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Neil manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Picket has Neil in his guard. Neil looking to sit in guard and control but Picket gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Picket looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neil manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Neil throws some wild stikes that Picket manages to avoid easily.
Neil looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neil misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Neil takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Neil sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Picket has given up his back.
Neil punches the canvas rather than the man. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Neil has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Neil dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Neil dives in and scores a takedown into Picket 's guard. Neil wants to control from the top but Picket keeps moving. Neil postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Picket is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Neil, into his guard. Picket is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Neil is on top in guard.
Neil looking to sit in guard and control but Picket gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neil wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Neil has his foot on Picket 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Picket works his way back into a safe position though. Picket drops back looking for a leg! Neil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Neil manages to kick Picket off! Picket jumps back into Neil's guard. Picket drops back, looking for a kneebar! Neil looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Neil looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Neil! Neil tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neil working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Picket defending against the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neil goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Picket rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Neil's guard! Nice work there by Picket ! Neil keeping full guard, as Picket tries to pass. Neil can't keep his opponent in guard - Picket advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Neil might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Neil manages to get to full guard.
Picket drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Neil dives on top into guard. Neil controls from within his opponent's guard. Picket keeping moving, preventing Neil from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neil drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Picket manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Neil has Picket in his guard. Picket drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Neil dives on top into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Neil decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Neil dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Neil scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Neil is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Picket has escaped the position, nice work there. Picket is not content to let Neil control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neil is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Picket knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Neil working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neil is trying to get an arm triangle but Picket is defending well. Neil sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Picket is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Neil goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Picket rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Neil's guard! Nice work there by Picket ! On your feet son! Picket tries to clinch but fails miserably and Neil counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Neil is working for a kimura here but Picket manages to reverse the position and he's now in Neil's guard.
Neil is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Craig Neil overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Neil looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Craig Neil showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Neil, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
