The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ami throws a hook but Emanuel avoids it easily.
Emanuel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ami.
Emanuel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ami as he avoids it easily.
Emanuel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ami swats away the attempt to clinch by Emanuel.
Ami missing with a left hand there. Emanuel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ami jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Some wild striking there from Ami.
Ami thuds his right hand into Emanuel's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Emanuel closes the distance but Ami moves to the side
and Ami counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ami moves out of range of the body kick from Emanuel.
Ami misses with a looping right.
Emanuel slips a straight right by Ami.
A leg kick checked by Ami.
Emanuel moves out of range of the strikes.
Ami jabs Emanuel to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Emanuel.
Ami jabs Emanuel right on the nose. Emanuel blinks but takes it well.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Emanuel slips under a jab.

Ami sends Emanuel crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ami is motioning to the referee to let Emanuel up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Emanuel is rocked!

It looks like Ionut Emanuel has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ami blocks a head kick by Emanuel.
Oh Emanuel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ami jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ami throws a jab but it's blocked by Emanuel.
Ami lands a brutal uppercut that launches Emanuel off his feet! Emanuel tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
