Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Povidlo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Povidlo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, NSVL. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rodrigo Povidlo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ray Stone! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Povidlo is defended easily by Stone. Povidlo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stone circles away. Povidlo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Povidlo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone leaves Povidlo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Povidlo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stone. Stone displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Povidlo. Stone lands a big head kick that sends Povidlo tumbling to the mat! Stone takes a step backwards and waves Povidlo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Povidlo is rocked!
It looks like Rodrigo Povidlo has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Povidlo tries to keep at a distance but Stone has taken the fight into the clinch. Oh Povidlo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stone pulls guard effortlessly. Povidlo seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Povidlo trying to control the position from guard on top but Stone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stone throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Stone keeping moving, preventing Povidlo from controlling successfully. Povidlo won't allow Stone to sweep him here. Stone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Povidlo! Povidlo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Povidlo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Stone lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Povidlo hang on? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone content just to control the position here. It looks like Stone might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Povidlo tries to hold on but Stone pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ray Stone has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Povidlo has a takedown stuffed. Povidlo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Povidlo is breathing heavily. Stone cracks a nice hook into Povidlo's ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Povidlo as he jumps to the side. Povidlo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stone rushes Povidlo and presses him up against the cage. Povidlo blocks an elbow strike. Povidlo is trying to break the clinch but Stone is controlling him. Stone throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Stone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Povidlo leaves Stone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Povidlo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stone defends it nicely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone clinches up with Povidlo and pushes him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Stone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rodrigo Povidlo's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Povidlo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Povidlo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stone gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Stone drags the fight down to the ground.
Stone has Povidlo pulled in close to control his posture. Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Povidlo is one step ahead there. Stone looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Povidlo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stone is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Povidlo tries to free his leg and advance position but Stone is retaining full guard. Stone is adopting a defensive guard.
Ray Stone has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Povidlo wants to clinch but Stone slips to the side and Stone counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Povidlo blocks a head kick by Stone.
Povidlo darts in trying to clinch and Stone counters with a flying knee. Nice. Stone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Povidlo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Povidlo fails in his attempt to clinch. Stone listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice sprawl there from Stone as Povidlo shoots in. Povidlo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stone sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Povidlo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Povidlo wants to clinch. Povidlo shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Povidlo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stone closes the distance and pushes Povidlo back into the cage. Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stone is positioning himself well to prevent Povidlo advancing to mount. Povidlo is looking to take a break and control but Stone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stone tries to get to full guard but Povidlo has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Povidlo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Povidlo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone is positioning himself well to prevent Povidlo advancing to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stone looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Povidlo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Stone counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Povidlo is lucky that one didn't land flush. Povidlo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stone's waist but Stone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Povidlo off to one side. Stone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Povidlo fails with a takedown attempt. A right-left combo lands from Stone. Stone throws a head kick that misses and Povidlo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Stone pushes Povidlo against the cage but Povidlo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stone has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stone closes the distance and pushes Povidlo back into the cage. Povidlo jumps guard but Stone turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Povidlo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Povidlo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Povidlo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stone kicks Povidlo off and gets to his feet. Povidlo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stone pinned against the cage. Stone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ray Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone shoots for a takedown but Povidlo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone gets in close and instigates a clinch. Stone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Povidlo.
Stone will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Povidlo up against the cage. Stone drags the fight down to the ground.

And that's the end of the fight! Ray Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
