Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krilich Berglomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berglomi throws a head kick that misses.
Jacobs showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Berglomi.
Berglomi moves out of range of the body kick from Jacobs.
Berglomi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Berglomi misses with a combination

and Jacobs counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jacobs.
Jacobs stalling in the clinch.

Jacobs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jacobs pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Berglomi back to the cage. Jacobs follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A head kick misses from Berglomi.
Berglomi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Berglomi throws a right hand that Jacobs ducks under and follows up with a left that Jacobs also avoids with ease.
Berglomi is breathing heavily.
Jacobs misses with a two punch combination.
Jacobs misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jacobs is looking to clinch.
Berglomi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jacobs backs up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Berglomi looks to land a right hand but Jacobs moved out of range.

Jacobs gets a double leg takedown into Berglomi's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Berglomi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jacobs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jacobs wants to control from the top but Berglomi keeps moving.
Jacobs tries to stand but Berglomi is controlling from the bottom.

Jacobs gets to his feet. Berglomi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jacobs goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Berglomi closes the distance and clinches up with Jacobs, looking for a takedown. Berglomi pushes Jacobs against the cage but Jacobs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Berglomi tries a head kick but it misses.

Jacobs drops Berglomi with a beautiful combination! Berglomi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jacobs is looking for the KO!


Berglomi is rocked!


It looks like Krilich Berglomi has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jacobs moves into the clinch successfully.
Oh Berglomi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jacobs has clasped his hands together around Berglomi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Jacobs tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jacobs has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Check out the look on Jacobs's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jacobs connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Berglomi some visible discomfort.
Berglomi is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jacobs connects with a decent elbow.

Jacobs wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Berglomi, who protects the arm well.
Jacobs looks up at the clock and then as Berglomi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jacobs smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jacobs working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Jacobs scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Berglomi to see if he's OK.

Jacobs stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jacobs lands with a right that hurts Berglomi. Berglomi looks to clinch but Jacobs throws a short knee that drops Berglomi. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Ryan Jacobs!
An out of breath Ryan Jacobs thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
