The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Noitalahti connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Janos scrambles back to his feet.
Janos moves to clinch but Noitalahti breaks away
and Noitalahti counters with a nice kick to the body.
Janos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Janos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Janos tries to clinch up but Noitalahti circles away and keeps his distance.
Janos will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Noitalahti throws a head kick that half lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

enabling Noitalahti to counter with a crisp jab.
Janos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Noitalahti swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Janos throws a head kick that misses
and Noitalahti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Noitalahti throws a push kick but Janos slaps the foot to one side.
Noitalahti scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Janos tries a head kick but it misses.
Janos darts in trying to clinch
and Noitalahti counters with a straight right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Noitalahti throws a head kick but Janos moves out of range.

Noitalahti lands a left and a right that send Janos crashing to the mat, dazed. Noitalahti thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jim Janos has been cut.

Janos fails in his attempt to clinch.

Janos rushes Noitalahti and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Noitalahti breaks the clinch.
Janos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Noitalahti lands a brutal head kick. Janos looks out on his feet and Noitalahti throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
