And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Putin blocks the leg kick.
Putin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Putin wants to control from the top but Queen keeps moving.

Queen has Putin pulled in close to control his posture.
Putin stays in close to Queen's body and controls the position.
Queen keeping moving, preventing Putin from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Vladimir Putin just wasn't active enough.
Queen wants to slow Putin down by chopping away at his legs.

Putin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Queen as he jumps to the side.

Putin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Queen throws a low kick, looking for Putin's leg but Putin calmly moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Putin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Queen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir Putin will probably get the nod.

Queen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Putin is looking to control Queen's arms but Queen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Putin has his back to the cage.

Putin is trying to break the clinch but Queen is controlling him.

Queen lands a hook that snaps the head of Putin backwards.

Queen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Putin is rocked!
Queen creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Putin's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Putin drops to his knees and Queen pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
