1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cirilo Galiei! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Galiei sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Galiei wants to clinch so Boes counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Boes tries to stand but Galiei is controlling from the bottom. Galiei looking to control.
Boes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Boes shoots in for a takedown but Galiei shows good takedown defense. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Galiei wants to clinch and Boes counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boes.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Cirilo Galiei hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Galiei tries to clinch but Boes moves away and Boes counters with a nice double leg into guard. Galiei is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boes would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Nice work there by Boes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boes wants it to stay on the feet. Galiei darts in trying to clinch and Boes counters with a shoot takedown. Galiei fights it but they end up in guard.

Galiei tries to clinch and Boes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Galiei's guard now. Boes gets to his feet - Galiei follows without any prompting. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Galiei tries to clinch but Boes moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Mega Boes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
