Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vitor Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ash Thomas! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie missing with a left hand there. Thomas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Thomas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thomas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Gracie throws a hook but Thomas blocks it. Vitor Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Thomas is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Thomas is defending well.
Gracie passes the guard and advances to mount! Gracie has hold of Thomas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Thomas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie wants to control the pace but Thomas is squirming around nicely. Gracie goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Thomas is on top in guard.
Thomas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thomas can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gracie has his feet on Thomas's thighs here. He's pushed Thomas off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Thomas screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
