Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mishiriro Anjinamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock comes to the cage accompanied by Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Shamrock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mishiriro Anjinamoto! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock digs a good body shot into Anjinamoto's ribs. Danga de danga de dang - Shamrock scores with a four punch combination! Anjinamoto misses with a body punch
and Anjinamoto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Anjinamoto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shamrock paws at him with a jab and circles away. Anjinamoto has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Shamrock cracks Anjinamoto with a right hand to the side of the head. Anjinamoto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shamrock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anjinamoto somewhat. Anjinamoto fails to land the takedown. Anjinamoto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shamrock as he avoids it easily. Chuck Shamrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mishiriro Anjinamoto. Anjinamoto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shamrock is fending him off so far but Anjinamoto persists. Nope, Shamrock circles away and we're back to standing. Shamrock scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anjinamoto wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock with a poor takedown and Anjinamoto counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Shamrock! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Shamrock stops Anjinamoto from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Shamrock on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shamrock tries to get out of the position. Shamrock holds on to Anjinamoto as tight as he can, avoiding damage. Anjinamoto is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Shamrock is surviving well by controlling Anjinamoto's body position as best he can. Anjinamoto controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shamrock tries to hold on but Anjinamoto pushes him away. Anjinamoto trying to control but Shamrock is having none of it. Anjinamoto sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Anjinamoto putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Anjinamoto cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Anjinamoto wants to control the pace but Shamrock is squirming around nicely. Anjinamoto looking to finish with strikes here!
Anjinamoto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anjinamoto trying to control but Shamrock is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anjinamoto shoots in but Shamrock avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shamrock closes the distance and pushes Anjinamoto back into the cage. Anjinamoto looking to stall.
Shamrock digs a right hand underneath Anjinamoto's ribcage. Anjinamoto let out a lung full of air as it connected. Shamrock lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Anjinamoto takes a shot to the head.
It looks like Mishiriro Anjinamoto has been cut. Shamrock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Shamrock leaves Anjinamoto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Shamrock defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anjinamoto. Chuck Shamrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mishiriro Anjinamoto.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anjinamoto shoots for a takedown but Shamrock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Shamrock stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shamrock wants it to stay on the feet. Anjinamoto is breathing heavily. Shamrock throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Chuck Shamrock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A shot to the liver by Shamrock. Beautiful body shot. Shamrock scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The fighters circle momentarily. Shamrock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A cross from Shamrock lands. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anjinamoto tries to move into range but Shamrock moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Anjinamoto takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Anjinamoto misses with a right hand enabling Shamrock to counter with a crisp jab. Shamrock cracks Anjinamoto with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Shamrock tests Anjinamoto's chin there with a solid looking shot. Anjinamoto shoots in for a takedown but Shamrock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anjinamoto takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jab by Shamrock. Shamrock cracks Anjinamoto with an open hand slap.
Anjinamoto is rocked! Shamrock lands with a nice combination. Anjinamoto backs away looking to recover. Anjinamoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Shamrock finish him? Chuck Shamrock is winning the standup battle so far. Anjinamoto shoots in but no luck this time. Shamrock fails with the takedown. Anjinamoto fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Anjinamoto seems to have recovered his senses. Shamrock scores with the left hand. Anjinamoto knows he should have avoided that one. Shamrock works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A jab from Shamrock does it's job there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock rushes Anjinamoto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shamrock lands a hook that snaps the head of Anjinamoto backwards. Anjinamoto tries for a takedown but Shamrock manages to get underhooks.
Anjinamoto is trying to pull guard but Shamrock turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Shamrock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Oooooh!!! Shamrock has knocked Anjinamoto down with a huge combo! Shamrock steps away and waves a wobbly Anjinamoto back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anjinamoto takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Shamrock lands a head shot. Shamrock lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Shamrock closes the distance and pushes Anjinamoto back into the cage. Shamrock breaks from the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Shamrock moves into range and clinches up with Anjinamoto. Shamrock just leaning against Anjinamoto, taking a breather. Shamrock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Anjinamoto tries to clinch up. Shamrock lands with an uppercut that bounces Anjinamoto off the cage and back into range. Shamrock lands with an overhand left.
That has opened up Mishiriro Anjinamoto's cut even more. Anjinamoto throws a head kick that misses. Shamrock changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Shamrock punishes Anjinamoto's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Anjinamoto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Donk. Shamrock catches Anjinamoto right on the button with a cross. Shamrock with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Shamrock dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mishiriro Anjinamoto's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shamrock lands with an uppercut that bounces Anjinamoto off the cage and back into range. Anjinamoto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Anjinamoto tries to clinch up. Shamrock has closed the distance and engaged Anjinamoto in a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Shamrock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anjinamoto can do to turn this around? Shamrock breaks from the clinch.
Anjinamoto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Shamrock to counter with a crisp jab. Anjinamoto wants to clinch but Shamrock slips to the side and Shamrock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Shamrock forces Anjinamoto back against the cage and clinches. Anjinamoto jumps guard but Shamrock stands there with Anjinamoto around his waist. Anjinamoto gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Chuck Shamrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mishiriro Anjinamoto. Anjinamoto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Shamrock breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Shamrock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Anjinamoto shoots and misses and Shamrock counters with a series of strikes. Anjinamoto will be more careful next time no doubt. Shamrock has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Shamrock cracks Anjinamoto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Anjinamoto on the wrong end of a nice jab. Shamrock with a body punch. A glancing blow. Anjinamoto ducks right into an uppercut from Shamrock. Anjinamoto swings for the body but Shamrock moves out of range.
Shamrock goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The cut above Mishiriro Anjinamoto's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Shamrock uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Shamrock clinches up against the cage. Shamrock breaks from the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shamrock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anjinamoto as he avoids it easily. Anjinamoto gets a takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anjinamoto is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shamrock keeps control of the position for the meantime. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shamrock is looking to improve his position.
