Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Prophet Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clay Morrow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clay Morrow!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Marley.
Morrow darts in trying to clinch
and Marley counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Morrow wants to clinch up but Marley keeps it at a distance.
Marley looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Marley trying to control the position from guard on top but Morrow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marley connects with a nice short shot to Morrow's temple.
Marley is looking to take a break and control but Morrow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Marley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morrow defends it well.

Marley winds up and cracks Morrow with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Marley lands a nice short elbow.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Morrow is trying to escape the position but Marley is controlling the position.

Marley seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Morrow is looking to control Marley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morrow avoid being mounted?

Marley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morrow is staying active underneath Marley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Morrow wants to control but Marley is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Marley in particular looking to stall.
Marley wants to pass to mount but Morrow is defending the position.

Marley scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Marley is pressing down on Morrow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Morrow is holding on for now.

Marley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Morrow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Marley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prophet Marley dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Morrow tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Marley counters with a takedown into side control.
Prophet Marley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Morrow on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Marley grinds an elbow into Morrow's temple.
Morrow is rocked!
Marley creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Morrow is still in real trouble! Can Marley finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marley scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Morrow is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Marley can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Prophet Marley!
