Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diogo Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinto comes to the cage accompanied by Do you really want to hurt me. Rodrigues has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto throws a head kick that Rodrigues semi-blocks.
It looks like Lucio Rodrigues has been cut.
Rodrigues takes the fight into the clinch.
Pinto gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Rodrigues tries to roll over but Pinto keeps him under control.

Rodrigues manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pinto manages to get himself to full guard.

Rodrigues changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pinto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pinto is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rodrigues's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Pinto lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rodrigues's sensitive parts.
Rodrigues doesn't manage to clinch there - Pinto circles away.
Pinto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodrigues swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rodrigues takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Rodrigues scores with a nice strike.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rodrigues is defended easily by Pinto.

Pinto shoots in for a takedown but Rodrigues shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
