Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chocolate Al (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Vanha kaarti laulaa - Oolannin sota kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks for the body kick but Al saw that one coming.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Al.
Jones lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Al circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones checks the leg kick.
Al pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Al avoids a punch combination nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jones.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Al.
Jones is looking to clinch but Al is avoiding it.
Al circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jones throws a body punch but Al moves out of range.
Al throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jones chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Al can pounce on him.

Al tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Al throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jones.
Al lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Bubba Jones has been cut.
Bubba Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones clinches up with Al and pushes him back against the ropes.
Al softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Jones throws an elbow but misses.
Al scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Al's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Al circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones misses with a hook.
Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Al has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Al throws a punch but it's blocked by Jones.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Al.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Al creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Al gets an underhook and turns Jones into the ropes.
Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Al swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Al escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Al tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Al throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it.
Al scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Al swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Al throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.

Al fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the ropes.
Al lands a shoulder strike.
Al blocks an elbow strike.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Al throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Al working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Al.
Al lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chocolate Al dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Al goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Al throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Chocolate Al seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Al finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Al is looking to chop away at Jones's legs.
Al ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Al connects with a leg kick. Jones looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Al throws a front kick aimed at Jones's knee but Jones avoids it well.
Jones tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Al manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bubba Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Crunch! Al slams his shin into Jones's torso.
Chocolate Al is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A head kick from Al lands but Jones takes it in his stride.

Al fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Chocolate Al comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Al has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
