The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barao with a hook.

Barao closes the distance and clinches up with Nelson, looking for a takedown. Barao pushes Nelson against the cage but Nelson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Barao throws out a loose jab but Nelson uses good head movement to avoid it.

enabling Barao to counter with a crisp jab.

Barao avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Nelson counters with a huge left! Barao is in big trouble! He's backing up but Nelson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Barao from any more damage. A dominating finish by Nelson!
