The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pid swats away the attempt to clinch by Clay.
Clay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clay tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pid was well out of range. Poor timing from Clay.
A leg kick checked by Pid.
Pid could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Clay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Pid as Clay shoots in.
Clay shoots for a takedown but Pid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Pid has taken the fight to the clinch.

Pid manages to break the clinch.
Clay tries to move into range but Pid moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Robert Clay has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pid misses with a double jab.
Pid fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Clay is out of range.
Clay avoids a punch combination nicely.

Pid darts in and clinches Clay up against the cage.
Pid is pressed up against the cage. Clay has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pid down to the mat. Pid avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Stu Pid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Clay.

Pid darts in and clinches Clay up against the cage.

Pid escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clay tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pid paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Clay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pid but Pid pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pid swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Clay counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Clay tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pid swivels and escapes.
Pid throws a jab but it's blocked by Clay.

Clay is trying to break the clinch but Pid has him pressed against the cage.
Clay tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pid clinches with his opponent.
Clay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pid breaks the clinch.
Pid pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Clay takes one on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pid throws a right hand that misses
and Clay counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Clay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pid throws a nice looking combination but Clay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pid tries a head kick but it misses.
Clay closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pid circles away.
Pid misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Clay.
Pid is looking to slow Clay down with leg kicks.
Pid throws a series of punches but Clay avoids them all with ease.
Pid is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Clay like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Clay from another fist facial!
