Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jt Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wash has chosen The Fighter as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Jean Claude Van Damme has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jean Claude Van Damme seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jean Claude Van Damme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, jt Wash!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wash throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Van Damme makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Wash throws a combination that misses
and Van Damme decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wash's guard.
Van Damme thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Van Damme drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Van Damme jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Van Damme is looking to advance position but Wash has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Van Damme is looking to get to half guard.
Wash tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Van Damme sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Damme moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wash wants to stand and escape but instead Van Damme has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Van Damme drops back looking for a leg! Wash is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wash manages to kick Van Damme off! Van Damme jumps back into Wash's guard.
Van Damme stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wash swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Van Damme passes Wash's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Van Damme wants to work for an arm triangle but Wash is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Van Damme is trying to work for a kimura but Wash is defending well.
Van Damme is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wash defends it well.
Van Damme is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wash is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jean Claude Van Damme!
