Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danger Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Finkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Finkle's choice of entrance music: Traffic. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danger Takeshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vadim Finkle! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finkle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Takeshi circles away. Takeshi throws out a loose jab but Finkle uses good head movement to avoid it. Takeshi throws a big shot that misses. Finkle slips under a jab. Takeshi throws a hook to the side of Finkle's head but Finkle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Finkle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Takeshi throws out the jab. Finkle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Takeshi throws out the jab. Takeshi looks to land a combination but Finkle avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takeshi sends Finkle crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Takeshi is motioning to the referee to let Finkle up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Finkle is rocked!
It looks like Vadim Finkle has been cut. Takeshi throws out a loose jab but Finkle uses good head movement to avoid it. Finkle is still on wobbly legs! Can Takeshi finish him? Finkle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takeshi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Finkle seems to have recovered his senses. Takeshi moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Finkle goes down! Can Takeshi finish him!?
That's one minute gone in the round. Finkle working for a triangle but Takeshi defends it easily.
Takeshi wants to pass the guard but Finkle is keeping the position. Takeshi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Takeshi tries to free his leg and advance position but Finkle is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Finkle is on top in guard.
Finkle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Takeshi looking for a guillotine here but Finkle defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Finkle trying to control the position from guard on top but Takeshi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Finkle looking to pass the guard. Takeshi trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Finkle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Finkle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Takeshi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Takeshi throws a hook but Finkle avoids it easily. Takeshi misses with a looping left. Finkle fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Finkle avoids the body shot from Takeshi.
Finkle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takeshi swivels and escapes. Danger Takeshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vadim Finkle. Finkle looks gassed! Takeshi throws a jab when Finkle was well out of range. Finkle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Finkle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Takeshi looks to score with a jab to the body but Finkle is just out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Finkle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Takeshi but Takeshi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Takeshi throws a jab but it's blocked by Finkle. Takeshi looks to land a left hand but Finkle moved out of range nicely. Takeshi slow jab from Finkle misses its intended target. Danger Takeshi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Finkle is looking to clinch but Takeshi is avoiding it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Takeshi throws a shot from downtown. Finkle moves away and avoids it. Takeshi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danger Takeshi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vadim Finkle's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Horrible takedown by Finkle or perhaps it was just good defense by Takeshi which made him look bad. No luck for Finkle with that takedown attempt. Finkle shoots in but no luck this time. Danger Takeshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vadim Finkle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Finkle staying out of range there. Takeshi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Finkle. Finkle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takeshi sprawls well initially but Finkle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Finkle is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Takeshi has managed to free his arm - good work. Finkle is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeshi is looking for a sweep. Finkle is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Finkle tries to pass to full mount but Takeshi defends it. Takeshi wants to get back to full guard. Finkle is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Takeshi has managed to free his arm - good work. Takeshi tries to get to full guard but Finkle has control of the leg. Finkle passes the guard and advances to mount! Finkle jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Takeshi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Takeshi and Finkle has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Finkle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Takeshi, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeshi is trying to improve his position. Finkle tries for a kimura but Takeshi is defending well. Finkle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Finkle moves into full mount! Takeshi has left one of his arms exposed and Finkle doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Takeshi screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
