Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Natural Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Glades! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glades clinches. Killer tries to break free but Glades pushes him back against the cage. Killer trying to stall but Glades improves his position.
Killer tries to throw a body punch but Glades avoids it by throwing Killer back against the cage. Glades breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Killer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Glades swats him away and circles back towards the center. Killer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Glades's head. Killer looks to score with a jab to the body but Glades is just out of range. Glades blocks a head kick by Killer.
Glades scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Well, if Glades is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Killer is trying to stand back up but Glades is controlling him
Glades stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glades thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Killer's head. Killer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Glades on the ground. Killer is trying to stand up here but Glades is controlling him well. Glades seems to be working for a kimura but Killer defends the submission attempt. Killer wants to get back to his feet. Killer pushes Glades off but Glades dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Glades's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Glades lands a decent elbow from side control. Killer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Glades wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Killer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Glades has hold of Killer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Killer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Glades cranks the arm and Killer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Killer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jack Glades!
