Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyde Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Voodoo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Thompson is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Thompson is breathing heavily.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches.
Jackson has Thompson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jackson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Thompson tumbling to the mat - Jackson dives into Thompson's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jackson trying to control but Thompson is working from the bottom.
Jackson stands up from Thompson's guard - Jackson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Jackson gets a double leg takedown into Thompson's guard.
Jackson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Thompson's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thompson was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jackson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jackson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Thompson's head.
Jackson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jackson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson showed some decent athleticism there.
Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jackson works his way into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson scoring with strikes but Thompson is staying in there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson drops a big elbow. That's hurt Thompson! More shots from Jackson and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
