Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between ALtropos Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braz Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ALtropos Lion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braz Serra!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra tries to clinch but Lion moves out of range.

Lion gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Serra on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lion lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Braz Serra has been cut.
Serra tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lion smiles and moves away.
Lion keeps the fight on the outside.

Lion clinches up with Serra and pushes him back against the cage.
Lion misses with a knee strike.
Serra is trying to break free.
Lion pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Serra tries to pull guard but Lion won't allow it.
Serra takes a knee right on the jaw!
Serra avoiding damage as Lion throws knees to the body.

Lion lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Serra takes a shot to the head.

Lion tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Serra blocks an elbow strike from Lion.
Lion using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Serra has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Serra is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lion can't fight it off and eventually Serra manages to take the fight to the floor. Lion looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Serra makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Serra's guard.

Serra is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lion is aware though and is defending well.
Lion engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lion wants to control from the top but Serra keeps moving.
Lion looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Serra thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Lion with a nice head shot there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Serra wants to sweep here but Lion controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. ALtropos Lion wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Serra has his takedown stuffed
and Lion counters with a lovely straight right hand!
ALtropos Lion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braz Serra.
Serra misses with a straight left.
Serra tries for a takedown but Lion circles away easily

so Lion counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lion chips away with some ground and pound.
Lion connects with a couple of short punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Serra wants to stand and escape but Lion is having none of it.
Lion wants to control from the top but Serra keeps moving.
Serra trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Lion trying to control but Serra is working from the bottom.
Lion scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Lion landing with the ground and pound.
Lion postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Serra is rocked!
Lion works over Serra with some ground and pound from guard.
Serra is still in real trouble! Can Lion finish him?
Lion stays in close to Serra's body and controls the position.
Lion gets to his feet and stands over Serra, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Serra felt that one! Lion unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Serra from any more punishment!
