Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Ricard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ripley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricard comes to the cage accompanied by Frank The Tank. Ripley has chosen The Talented Mr. Ripley - Tu Vuo' Fa l'Americano as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Ricard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Ripley! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ricard keeps the fight on the outside. Ricard stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ricard misses with a series of wild punches.
Ricard feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ripley's calf. Ricard misses with a few strikes there.
Ricard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ripley is fending him off so far but Ricard persists. Nope, Ripley circles away and we're back to standing. Ricard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ripley defends it nicely. Ripley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ripley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ripley throws a series of punches but Ricard avoids them all with ease. Ricard closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ripley did well to prevent Ricard getting side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ripley is looking to control Ricard's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ripley avoid being mounted? Ricard is stalling here. Ripley is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ricard seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ripley has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Ripley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ricard keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ricard tries to buck Ripley off but Ripley is having none of it. Ripley prevents Ricard from escaping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ripley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ripley slows the pace down. Ripley trying to control the position but Ricard is working away. Ripley advances nicely into full mount. Ricard tries to hold on but Ripley pushes him away. Ripley is landing with some decent strikes but Ricard is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ricard is desperately trying to improve his position but Ripley has a good base and remains in mount. Ricard is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ricard is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ripley scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ricard defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Ripley. Ripley looking to control but Ricard is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ricard is in a horrible position here. Ripley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ricard is in all sorts of trouble here.
Oooh a big shot lands for Ripley! Ricard is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
