Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Average Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucky Mussiono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Average Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucky Mussiono!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Mussiono misses.
Mussiono shoots in and gets a takedown into Joe's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Joe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mussiono can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mussiono trying to control the position from guard on top but Joe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Joe has Mussiono pulled in close to control his posture.
Mussiono stands and throws Joe's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mussiono is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Joe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mussiono passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Joe!
Joe is in all sorts of trouble here.
Joe sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Mussiono with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Joe slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Mussiono trying to control but Joe is working from the bottom.
Mussiono postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Joe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mussiono, into his guard.

Mussiono looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mussiono manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Joe manages to get himself to full guard.
Joe is pulling down on Mussiono's head to control his posture.
Mussiono avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Joe has control of Mussiono's left arm, preventing Mussiono from doing any damage.
Mussiono postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mussiono controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Joe trying to control the position.
Average Joe has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
No joy there for Mussiono, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mussiono looks to land a combination. Joe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A combination from Joe does no damage.
Mussiono throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Joe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Joe on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mussiono looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mussiono ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joe moves away.
Joe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab-cross combination lands for Joe and sends Mussiono crashing to the mat! Joe follows him down to the mat - Mussiono regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Joe is pressing down on Mussiono's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mussiono is holding on for now.
Mussiono moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Mussiono is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Joe defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Joe drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mussiono dives on top into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mussiono stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Average Joe will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mussiono shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Joe's guard.
Joe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Joe has his foot on Mussiono's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mussiono works his way back into a safe position though.
Mussiono trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Joe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mussiono!
Mussiono tries to lock up and control but Joe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Joe goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mussiono is on top in guard.

Mussiono throwing strikes from guard but Joe blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Joe is trying to keep Mussiono in close.
Joe keeping moving, preventing Mussiono from controlling successfully.
Mussiono slips nicely into half guard.
Joe won't allow Mussiono to pass to mount.
Mussiono is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Joe is just riding it out for now. Mussiono eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Joe is trying to stand.
Joe works his way to full guard. Good work.
Lucky Mussiono has got the better of the ground game so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Joe is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mussiono frees his head nicely. Oh but Joe has switched to an armbar! Mussiono is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
