Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Predir!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alurin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Predir manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Alurin is looking to improve his position.
Alurin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Predir.
Predir decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Predir closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Alurin did well to prevent Predir getting side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Predir looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Predir thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alurin's head.
Predir throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Predir prevents Alurin from improving his position.

Predir is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Alurin is bucking up trying to escape but Predir cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Predir cracks Alurin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big strike lands for Predir! That's really hurt Alurin and he's turned his back - Predir keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Predir jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Predir!
A relieved looking Jason Predir thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
