Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Texans Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has chosen FACE THE PAIN as his entrance music. Joao Gabriel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabriel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gabriel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kane as he avoids it easily.

Gabriel throws a low kick, looking for Kane's leg but Kane calmly moves out of range.
Gabriel displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Texans Kane has been cut.
Kane looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gabriel darts in and clinches Kane up against the cage.
Gabriel lands an elbow that stopped Kane in his tracks for a moment.
Kane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gabriel walks away with a smile on his face. Kane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sloppy strikes from Gabriel. Those never looked like landing.
Gabriel throws a combination. Kane tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Gabriel instigates a clinch.

Gabriel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gabriel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kane sprawls well. Kane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gabriel gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Gabriel. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nice combo by Gabriel! Oh, that's hurt him - Kane falls to the canvas and Gabriel follows him into side control.

Kane is rocked!

That has opened up Texans Kane's cut even more.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gabriel content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Kane is still in real trouble! Can Gabriel finish him?
Gabriel tries to score with some ground and pound. Kane controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Gabriel decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kane to his feet.
Gabriel throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Kane crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
