PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Hazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bunson Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hazuki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Earth & Sea. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bunson Turner!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazuki moves out of range as Turner throws a body kick.
Turner throws an overhand right that lands on Hazuki's shoulder, as Hazuki tries to avoid the shot.
Hazuki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Turner throws out a powerful jab.
Turner lands a big uppercut and Hazuki crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hazuki looks OK.

Hazuki is rocked!
Turner looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Oh Hazuki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turner frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Turner prevents Hazuki from getting the reversal.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Turner cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hazuki seems to have got his legs back now.
Hazuki is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner scoring with strikes but Hazuki is staying in there.

Hazuki is trying to escape the mount.
Turner breaks from Hazuki's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hazuki is bucking up trying to escape but Turner cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Turner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hazuki takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hazuki is desperately trying to improve his position but Turner has a good base and remains in mount.
Turner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hazuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bunson Turner just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hazuki walks into a stiff left hand from Turner.
Turner is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hazuki hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
