Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Huntti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asher Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Huntti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Atomic Butt Drop on Wanderlei Silva by Mark Hunt!. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Marko Huntti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Asher Asher! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huntti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Asher chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Asher misses with an uppercut. Huntti saw that one coming. Asher tries to land a front kick but Huntti steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Huntti slips a jab from Asher. Huntti blocks a head kick by Asher.
A slapping leg kick lands for Asher.
Huntti throws a nice looking combination but Asher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Huntti looks to land a combination but Asher avoids it well. Huntti uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Asher.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asher misses with a kick to the body.
Asher throws a nice outside leg kick. Asher misses with a body kick. Huntti misses with a double jab.
Huntti pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Asher Asher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Asher scores with a leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Asher.
Huntti shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Asher sprawls well. Asher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Huntti gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Asher throws a wild body kick that Huntti sees coming a mile off. Asher throws a leg kick but Huntti sees it coming and checks it nicely. Asher tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Asher fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Huntti. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Asher. Huntti looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Huntti avoids a kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Huntti with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marko Huntti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Huntti takes a swing at Asher's ribcage but misses. Asher misses with an uppercut. Huntti saw that one coming. Huntti checks a low kick from Asher. Asher looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Asher connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Asher throws a push kick but Huntti slaps the foot to one side. A big left from Asher misses. A telegraphed right hand from Asher misses the target. Asher lands with a slapping head kick. Asher wants to land a leg kick but Huntti is out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Asher throws the kick towards the body but Huntti avoids it. Asher throws a leg kick which misses Huntti's front leg but catches the back leg as Huntti tries to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asher Asher dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A leg kick checked by Huntti. Asher misses with a body kick. Huntti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Asher cracks the inside of Huntti's front leg. Asher pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Huntti is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Asher connects with a crisp jab. A telegraphed right hand from Asher misses the target. Asher throws a sloppy head kick and Huntti moves out of range easily. Asher with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's one minute gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Asher.
A nice leg kick lands there from Asher. Asher leaves Huntti with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Asher tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Huntti is able to avoid easily. Asher throws a front kick that sends Huntti stumbling back into the cage. Huntti checks the leg kick. Huntti moves out of range as Asher throws a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Asher throws a solid leg kick but Huntti takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Asher. Asher tried to score with a low kick but Huntti checks it. Good standup being displayed there by Asher as he connects with a hook. Huntti shoots for a takedown but Asher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marko Huntti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Asher connects with a looping right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Asher stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Asher Asher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Asher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Asher is looking to score with low kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Asher misses with a low kick. Huntti throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Asher swings away with a leg kick that misses. Asher fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Huntti has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Asher lands with a kick to the ribs.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Huntti might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Huntti tries to move into range but Asher moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Asher throws a head kick but Huntti moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Asher. That's going to slow Huntti down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Asher misses with a looping left. Huntti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Asher tries to avoid it but Huntti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Asher to the ground. Asher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Huntti shoots in but Asher avoids the takedown attempt easily. Asher throws a body kick that misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A clash of legs there as Huntti blocks the low kick. Huntti checks a leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asher Asher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Asher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Asher misses with a body kick. Asher tries to land a body kick and Huntti counters with a takedown into side control. Asher struggling a bit here. Huntti wants to stand but Asher is controlling his arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Huntti stalls from top position. Asher wants to control but Huntti postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A head kick misses from Asher.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Huntti shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Asher as he avoids it easily. Asher Asher seems to be getting the better of the standup. Asher throws a push kick but Huntti slaps the foot to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Huntti is defended easily by Asher. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marko Huntti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Asher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Asher looks for the body kick but Huntti saw that one coming. Huntti looks for a takedown but Asher sprawls well.

Asher tries a low kick but Huntti avoids it. Asher throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Huntti. A low kick from Asher is predictable there and Huntti counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Huntti misses with a jab, cross combination.
Asher looks for the body kick but Huntti saw that one coming. Huntti shoots for a double leg takedown but Asher sprawls well. He's pushed Huntti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Asher. No joy for Huntti on that attempt. Asher throws a quick inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Huntti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Asher's waist but Asher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Huntti off to one side. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Asher tries a low kick but Huntti avoids it. Asher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Huntti stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Asher. Huntti takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Asher Asher. I've got Asher winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
