Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julius Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peppers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Day N Nite-Kid Cudi. This should be fireworks!

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Reese! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peppers tries a head kick but it misses.
Reese checks the leg kick nicely there.
Peppers looks to throw the jab but Reese is out of range. Reese tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Reese throws a sloppy head kick and Peppers moves out of range easily. Peppers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Reese clinches up with Peppers and pushes him back against the cage. Reese misses with a punch to the body.
Reese is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Peppers is defending well. Peppers is leaning against Reese and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Reese is looking for a takedown. Reese misses with a hook to the ribs.
Peppers is trying to break the clinch but Reese has him pressed against the cage. Peppers blocks a body shot from Reese. Peppers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Reese shoots in for a takedown but Peppers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Peppers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reese moves away. Reese looks to land a body kick but Peppers moved away. A shot to the liver by Peppers. Beautiful body shot. Reese fails in his attempt to clinch. Peppers throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. A shot to the body from Peppers misses and Reese makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Decent striking displayed by Peppers there. Peppers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Reese scores with a leg kick.

Reese with a body punch. A glancing blow. Reese shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Peppers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Reese throwing strikes from guard but Peppers blocks nicely. Peppers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reese is aware though and is defending well. Peppers throwing strikes but missing. Peppers wants to control from the top but Reese keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reese is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Julius Peppers will probably get the nod. That's time! Peppers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Reese fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Peppers slaps away a takedown attempt from Reese, before circling back to the center of the mat. Reese on the wrong end of a nice hook. Reese ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Peppers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Reese's head backwards. Reese walks into a straight right hand from Peppers. Reese lands a nice hook to Peppers's body. Peppers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A leg kick checked by Reese. Peppers throws a low kick but Reese moves out of range easily. Reese uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Peppers. Peppers throws the kick towards the body but Reese avoids it. Good shot there by Peppers. Reese walks into a stiff left hand from Peppers. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Peppers tried to score with a low kick but Reese checks it.

Reese throws a sloppy head kick and Peppers moves out of range easily. Peppers checks a leg kick nicely. Reese's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Peppers connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Reese scrambles back to his feet. Peppers blocks a head kick by Reese.
A shot to the body from Reese misses and Peppers counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reese's knee momentarily. Peppers looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Reese shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Reese trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Reese postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Peppers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reese postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Peppers wants to sweep here but Reese controlling him for the moment.

Peppers slips out almost immediately though and dives into Reese's guard. Reese looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kyle Reese showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Reese takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Peppers looks to land a left hand but Reese moved out of range nicely. Reese lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Reese darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Reese is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Peppers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reese is working away from the top position though.

Peppers looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Reese puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Reese seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Reese is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Peppers has managed to free his arm - good work. Reese missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Peppers on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reese decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Peppers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Peppers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reese stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nice sprawl there from Peppers as Reese shoots in. Reese throws a leg kick but Peppers moved away. Reese walks into a left hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peppers misses with a hook
and Reese counters with a nice low kick that buckles Peppers's knee momentarily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reese is defended easily by Peppers. Peppers throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Reese on the side of the head. A swing and a miss from Peppers. Julius Peppers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reese swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Reese postures up in Peppers's guard and throws a big left but Peppers blocks it. Reese has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Peppers is proving hard to escape from. Reese missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Peppers looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reese is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Peppers is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Peppers has escaped and now he's on top! Reese trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peppers lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Reese doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peppers won't allow Reese to sweep him here. Reese looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Peppers passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Reese comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Reese has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
