Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gabriel Saraiva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saraiva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sheehan finds it's way round the side to connect with Saraiva's head.
Saraiva tries to land a front kick but Sheehan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Saraiva avoids the body shot from Sheehan.
Sheehan misses with a shot to the body
and Saraiva finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
The crowd cheers as Saraiva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sheehan doesn't seem phased though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Saraiva 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Saraiva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sheehan was well out of range. Poor timing from Saraiva.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Saraiva, as that shot connected.
Some bone on bone action there as Sheehan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sheehan looks to land a right hand but Saraiva moved out of range.
Sheehan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Saraiva instigates a clinch.

Saraiva misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sheehan.
Sheehan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Saraiva prevents it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Sheehan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Sheehan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Saraiva sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sheehan is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Saraiva reverses the position - he's now on top in Sheehan's guard.

Sheehan tries to clinch up but Saraiva pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Sheehan to the mat! Sheehan covers up and Saraiva unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
