Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Skins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Bantum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bantum has chosen England belongs to me as his entrance music. Tony Skins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Skins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 18 - 1, fighting out of London, Bull Bantum!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bantum.
Skins fails with a takedown attempt.
Skins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bantum waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Skins.
Skins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bantum swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bantum connects with a jab.
Skins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bantum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Skins somewhat.

Bantum tries to clinch up but Skins circles away and keeps his distance.
Skins slips under a jab.
Skins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bantum throws his legs up looking for a submission but Skins uses it to pass to side control.

Skins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Skins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Skins tries for a kimura but Bantum is defending well.
Bantum is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Skins is looking to take a break and control but Bantum is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Skins connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bantum some visible discomfort.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bantum throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Skins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bantum.
Bantum throws the left hand but Skins avoids the punch easily.
A slow jab from Bantum misses its intended target.
Skins throws a good cross that connects.

and Skins counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bantum throws a looping overhand right but Skins ducks down to avoid it.
Bantum is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Bantum rushes Skins and presses him up against the ropes.

Skins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bantum smiles and moves away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bantum jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bantum thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tony Skins will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A jab from Bantum misses.
Bantum gets caught napping as Skins dives in and scores a takedown. Bantum manages to retain guard.
Bantum has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Skins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Skins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Skins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Skins's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Bantum is trying to keep Skins in close.
Bantum working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Skins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Skins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bantum has hold of Skins's hands but Skins slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Skins moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Bantum.

Skins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bantum wants to control but Skins is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Well, if Skins is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Skins is taking a breather. Bantum says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bantum has his foot on Skins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Skins works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
