The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dag shoots in for a takedown but Battailen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dag throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Battailen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Dag is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Battailen defends it well.

Dag tries to keep at a distance but Battailen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dag has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Battailen after a bit of a struggle.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Third Dag hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Dag shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Battailen's guard.

Battailen lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Dag head around and knocks him out cold! Battailen hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
