Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Almaz Anzor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abcd Efgh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anzor comes to the cage accompanied by Ты кто такой?. Almaz Anzor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Abcd Efgh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Almaz Anzor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abcd Efgh!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anzor connects with a nice looking jab.
Anzor stuffs the takedown attempt from Efgh. Efgh gets slowly back to his feet.
Efgh tries for a takedown but Anzor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Anzor as Efgh shoots in.
Almaz Anzor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abcd Efgh.
Anzor misses with a jab, cross combination.
Anzor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Efgh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Efgh shoots in looking for a takedown. Anzor tries to sprawl out of it but Efgh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anzor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Efgh slips a straight right by Anzor.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Anzor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Efgh shoots in looking for a takedown. Anzor tries to sprawl out of it but Efgh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anzor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Efgh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anzor defends it nicely.

Efgh closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Efgh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Anzor on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Efgh landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Efgh looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Efgh drops an elbow to the side of Anzor's head.
Efgh moves nicely into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Abcd Efgh dominated that round.
That's time! Anzor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Efgh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Anzor counters with a left and a right that stings Efgh.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Efgh shoots in looking for a takedown. Anzor tries to sprawl out of it but Efgh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anzor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Efgh slips a jab and a cross from Anzor.

Anzor misses with a body shot.
Anzor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anzor looks to land a combination but Efgh avoids it well.
Efgh shoots in for a double leg but Anzor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Almaz Anzor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abcd Efgh.
Efgh closes this distance looking for a takedown but Anzor circles away.

Efgh misses with a takedown
and Anzor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Anzor misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Efgh looks for a takedown but Anzor sprawls well.
Efgh shoots in but no luck this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Efgh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anzor avoids it really well and circles away.
Efgh fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Anzor misses with an uppercut. Efgh saw that one coming.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Efgh closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Anzor to the mat! Anzor manages to get full guard.
Efgh controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anzor trying to control the position.
Efgh controlling from the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Abcd Efgh will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Efgh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anzor as he avoids it easily.
Efgh doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Anzor counters with a series of strikes. Efgh will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Efgh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anzor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Efgh in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Anzor tries to bench press Efgh off him but Efgh keeps the position.
Efgh landing a few strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Efgh is staying tight to Anzor's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Efgh throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Anzor trying to remain calm as Efgh controls from the top position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Abcd Efgh hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Efgh dodges the punch combination from Anzor.
Anzor misses with a wild body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Efgh throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Anzor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Efgh is in Anzor's guard.
Anzor can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Efgh controls the pace.
Abcd Efgh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Let's hope that Efgh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

And that's the end of the fight!
Abcd Efgh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Efgh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
