The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heleknus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barnes.
Barnes fails with the takedown.
Barnes has Heleknus up against the cage in a clinch.

Barnes shoots in for a double leg but Heleknus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Barnes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Heleknus connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Barnes scrambles back to his feet.
