The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin missing with a left hand there. Kealekapuna was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Martin misses with a looping right.
Kealekapuna misses the shot to the body.
Martin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Martin shoots in looking for a takedown. Kealekapuna tries to sprawl out of it but Martin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kealekapuna manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Martin looks to land a right hand but Kealekapuna moved out of range.
Kealekapuna uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Martin.
Martin shoots in looking for a takedown. Kealekapuna tries to sprawl out of it but Martin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kealekapuna manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Martin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Martin misses with a hook

and Kealekapuna counters with a head kick that drops Martin to the mat! Martin scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kealekapuna rushes Martin and presses him up against the cage.
Martin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kealekapuna blocks it with crossed arms.
Martin has Kealekapuna pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kealekapuna manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

It looks like Frank Martin has been cut.
Kealekapuna gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kealekapuna is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Martin is defending well for now.
