Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Osei Tutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo comes into the arena with Run This Town blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Aldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Osei Tutu! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldo lands a glancing blow to the side of Osei Tutu's head. Osei Tutu tries to clinch but fails miserably and Aldo counters with a one-two to the body. Aldo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Osei Tutu throws out the jab. Aldo throws a wild body kick that Osei Tutu sees coming a mile off. Aldo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Osei Tutu. Aldo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Aldo scores with a decent looking hook. Osei Tutu loads up on a big right hand but Aldo slips the punch. Osei Tutu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Aldo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Osei Tutu's half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Osei Tutu trying to hold on to Aldo's head to control him but Aldo postures up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Osei Tutu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Osei Tutu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aldo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Osei Tutu is trying to stand.
Aldo wants to control but Osei Tutu is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo prevents Osei Tutu from standing back up.
Osei Tutu is positioning himself well to prevent Aldo advancing to mount. Osei Tutu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Aldo. Osei Tutu blocking the ground and pound attempt from Aldo. Aldo keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Aldo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Osei Tutu! Aldo breaks from Osei Tutu's wrist control and lands an elbow. Aldo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Aldo landing punches. Aldo working away from the top, dropping strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aldo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Osei Tutu's face.
Osei Tutu keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Osei Tutu slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Aldo is looking to take a break and control but Osei Tutu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Osei Tutu trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Osei Tutu is looking to escape. Aldo is thwarting Osei Tutu's attempts to control the position. Aldo looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Aldo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Aldo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Aldo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Aldo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Aldo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Osei Tutu is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Aldo working Osei Tutu over with strikes here.
Osei Tutu is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osei Tutu is bucking up trying to escape but Aldo cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Osei Tutu is still in real trouble! Can Aldo finish him? Aldo unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Osei Tutu wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Aldo celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Aldo! Our winner, Jose Aldo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
