The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Fung to counter with a crisp jab.
Ridley stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fung.
Ridley throws a head kick that half lands.
Ridley moves out of range as Fung throws a body kick.
Fung's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fung duly obliges.
Fung lands with a nice body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fung, right into the meat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ridley takes an elbow to the temple.
Fung gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Fung lands an elbow inside.
Fung stops a takedown attempt from Ridley.
Ridley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fung has him pressed against the cage.

Fung lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Fung throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ridley blocks it with crossed arms.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fung creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bo Ridley's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Ridley is trying to break the clinch but Fung has him pressed against the cage.
