Penduko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Penduko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Rodrigues leaves Penduko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rodrigues keeps Penduko at a distance using the push kick.
Rodrigues lands with a thumping leg kick.
Penduko is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rodrigues throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Penduko's head.
It looks like Pedro Penduko has been cut.
Penduko doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rodrigues, right into the meat.
Rodrigues circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Penduko drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rodrigues follows Penduko to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
