Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ping Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisher has chosen Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face as his entrance music. Ping Wong is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ping Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
George Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fisher to the mat! Fisher manages to get full guard.
Fisher wants to sweep here but Wong controlling him for the moment.
Fisher keeping moving, preventing Wong from controlling successfully.
Fisher lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wong!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fisher cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Wong tries to hold on but Fisher postures up.
Fisher tries to control but Wong wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fisher has control of Wong's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wong regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fisher throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Wong because Fisher loaded up on that one.
Wong avoids a series of strikes thrown by Fisher.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fisher goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Wong is on top in guard.

Wong won't allow Fisher to sweep him here.

Wong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fisher is proving hard to escape from.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fisher can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fisher tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fisher controls Wong momentarily but Wong frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wong wants to control but Fisher is keeping busy.

Wong has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fisher is working away from the top position though.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Fisher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wong is trying to control but can't.

Fisher is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wong defends it well.
Fisher looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fisher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wong keeps working.
Fisher has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fisher avoids the attempt from Wong to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fisher fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fisher cracks Wong with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fisher has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fisher postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wong looks a forlorn figure.

Wong seems to have got his legs back now.

Fisher moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wong has worked his arm free - good work by Wong!

Fisher passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wong!
Fisher is stalling here but it's allowed Wong to get half guard.

Fisher is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
George Fisher has got the better of the ground game so far.

Fisher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wong is looking for a sweep. Fisher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wong is trying to maintain the position but Fisher is very close to passing his half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

George Fisher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Fisher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
