Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alec Dimanche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Samba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dimanche comes to the cage accompanied by 835 - SLAPDASH. Samba has chosen Bezerker by Love Among Freaks as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alec Dimanche! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Christopher Samba! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Samba moves into the clinch successfully.
Samba tries to work over Dimanche's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Samba working some nice short punches in the clinch. Dimanche misses with a body punch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Samba. Dimanche blocks a body shot from Samba. Samba tries to stall but Dimanche uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Dimanche scores with a shot to the side of Samba's head. Dimanche misses with a knee strike.
Dimanche lands an uppercut. Dimanche ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dimanche no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Samba throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dimanche works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dimanche is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Samba defends well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Samba is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Samba stopping the sweep attempt from Dimanche. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Samba is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Samba's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dimanche is trying to keep Samba in close.
Dimanche is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Samba defends well. Samba engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dimanche wants to sweep but no luck. Dimanche is trying to hold Samba in close to prevent damage but Samba has managed to pass into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Samba is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dimanche is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Samba looking to finish Dimanche with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dimanche! Samba raining down shots from the mount! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Samba postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dimanche looks a forlorn figure.
It looks like Alec Dimanche has been cut. Samba tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Samba fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Samba takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. It looks like Samba might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dimanche is squirming around, avoiding Samba's attempts to control the action. Dimanche keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Christopher Samba. Samba stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Alec Dimanche's cut is getting worse.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dimanche tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Samba paws at him with a jab and circles away. Samba throws an overhand right that drops Dimanche like a sack of potatoes! Samba dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christopher Samba! Christopher Samba spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
