The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Acer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Coon.
Acer lands with a cross.

Coon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fighters circling - Coon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

It looks like Isiah Acer has been cut.

Acer's corner calls for a 1-2. Acer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Acer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Coon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Acer scrambles back to his feet.
Coon throws a jab but it's blocked by Acer.
Coon lands a nice shot to the body.
Coon fails to land the takedown.

and Acer counters with a straight right hand.

Acer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
An inside leg kick lands from Acer.
A left lands for Coon.

Acer gets caught flat footed, as Coon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Acer is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coon wants to stand but Acer is controlling the position.
Acer is looking to advance position but Coon has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

That has opened up Isiah Acer's cut even more.
Coon postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Acer bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Coon and the fight is over!

After the fight, Agamemnon Coon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
