The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ofthegods sprawls well. Ofthegods wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet.

King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ofthegods swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Weed King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King stuffs the takedown attempt from Ofthegods. Ofthegods gets slowly back to his feet.
King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ofthegods tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ofthegods to the ground. Ofthegods escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

King throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ofthegods was covering up waiting for the punch and King finishes the takedown easily into guard.

King decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ofthegods circles away quickly and effectively.
