Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Pacheco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wladamir DaSilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacheco comes to the cage accompanied by HIGHWAY TO HELL. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Pacheco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wladamir DaSilva! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacheco avoids a punch combination nicely.
DaSilva is looking to clinch but Pacheco is avoiding it.
DaSilva connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pacheco's hands. Pacheco looks to land a left hand but DaSilva moved out of range nicely. Pacheco gets the takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Pacheco tries to score with some ground and pound. DaSilva controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. DaSilva is looking to get back to his feet here but Pacheco is keeping cool and he's managed to take DaSilva's back. Pacheco is not going to allow DaSilva to sit and survive in this position. What can DaSilva do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Pacheco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pacheco missing with punches from the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. DaSilva is trying to remain composed but Pacheco is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Pacheco is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. DaSilva is defending well though. Pacheco let's go of the attempt for now. Pacheco is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
DaSilva tries to escape but Pacheco has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Pacheco has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of DaSilva's body.
DaSilva looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good control from Pacheco. DaSilva tries to escape the position.

DaSilva manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pacheco's guard. Nice work there by DaSilva.
DaSilva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pacheco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, DaSilva has managed to get both his arms back between Pacheco's legs - danger averted. Pacheco is controlling DaSilva's posture. DaSilva with a flurry of punches that miss. DaSilva is looking to advance position but Pacheco has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Pacheco tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. DaSilva is looking to improve his position but Pacheco isn't that keen on the idea. Pacheco takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. DaSilva is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pacheco is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. DaSilva is in real trouble.

Pacheco shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with DaSilva but DaSilva pushes him off and we're back to square one. DaSilva moves to clinch but Pacheco breaks away and Pacheco counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for DaSilva! Pacheco can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as DaSilva is looking to escape. Pacheco looking to control and managing it successfully. Pacheco avoids the attempt from DaSilva to control. Pacheco get's back to his feet.

Pacheco misses with a hook. Pacheco keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pacheco throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pacheco shoots in but DaSilva avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pacheco closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into DaSilva's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pacheco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. DaSilva pushes Pacheco off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pacheco shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. DaSilva manages to get to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. DaSilva is trying to control the position from the bottom.

DaSilva tries to pull guard but Pacheco holds him up against the cage and eventually DaSilva drops back down to his feet.
Pacheco on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Pacheco has a couple of punches blocked by DaSilva.
Pacheco prevents DaSilva from breaking the clinch. Pacheco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
DaSilva tries to clinch and Pacheco counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for DaSilva! Pacheco breaks from DaSilva's wrist control and lands an elbow. DaSilva sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pacheco is trying to work for a kimura but DaSilva is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. DaSilva is looking to control Pacheco's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can DaSilva avoid being mounted? Pacheco trying to control the action but DaSilva is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pacheco sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pacheco rushes DaSilva and presses him up against the cage. Pacheco tightens his grip and picks DaSilva up, before dumping him to the ground. DaSilva manages to land in guard. Gabriel Pacheco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pacheco throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pacheco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DaSilva swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pacheco avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. DaSilva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. DaSilva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Pacheco forces DaSilva back against the cage and clinches. DaSilva fails to pull the fight into his guard.
DaSilva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pacheco swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and DaSilva counters with a left and a right that stings Pacheco. DaSilva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - DaSilva lands in his opponent's guard. Pacheco tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pacheco pulls DaSilva in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pacheco looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

DaSilva wants to get up but he can't break Pacheco's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Pacheco has DaSilva pulled in close to control his posture. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Horrible takedown by Pacheco or perhaps it was just good defense by DaSilva which made him look bad. Pacheco takes a head kick and keeps coming.
DaSilva shoots in but Pacheco avoids the takedown attempt easily. Gabriel Pacheco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wladamir DaSilva. Pacheco closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pacheco lands in his opponent's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. DaSilva scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Pacheco?
DaSilva wants to stand but Pacheco is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Gabriel Pacheco showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pacheco, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
