Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kowalski comes to the cage accompanied by Harvey - Get up and move. Walker has chosen Darude - Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Walker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker has managed to clinch.
Walker misses with a knee to the head.
Walker fails to pull guard.
Walker is pushing Kowalski up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Kowalski prevents Walker from breaking the clinch.
Walker controlling the action here for a moment.
Kowalski blocks the elbow strike.
Walker stalling in the clinch but Kowalski improves position.

Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker shoots in and drives through. Kowalski sprawls well.
Kowalski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Walker misses with a takedown attempt - Kowalski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kowalski drags the fight down to the ground.
Walker is fighting to break Kowalski's control of his arms but Kowalski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kowalski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Walker manages to get himself to full guard.

Walker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Walker's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Walker is pressed up against the cage. Kowalski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Walker down to the mat. Walker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Walker swings widly with a right hand
and Kowalski counters with a left and a right that stings Walker.

Kowalski is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Kowalski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Kowalski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James Walker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Shawn Kowalski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kowalski.

And that's the end of the fight!
Shawn Kowalski showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kowalski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
