Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fuentes. That did some damage!
Fuentes sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fuentes scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fuentes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Turner kicks Fuentes off and gets back to his feet.

Fuentes takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Fuentes has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Turner.

Fuentes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Turner sprawls well initially but Fuentes persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Turner is concentrating on defense, preventing Fuentes from advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fuentes throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Turner to regain full guard.
Turner pushes Fuentes off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Turner throws a wild body kick that Fuentes sees coming a mile off.
Turner tries to land a front kick but Fuentes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Turner takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Turner pushes Fuentes away with a front kick.
Turner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fuentes takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Fuentes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Turner tries to bum rush Fuentes with a series of wild strikes but Fuentes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Turner looks for the body kick but Fuentes saw that one coming.
Turner throws a body kick that misses.
Turner throws a head kick but Fuentes moves out of range.
Fuentes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fuentes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Fuentes trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rodrigo Fuentes was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Turner scores with a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turner misses with an attempted mid kick.

Fuentes takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Turner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Turner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Turner lands a big head kick that sends Fuentes to the canvas! Turner follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
