PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes into the arena with yes blaring out of the sound system. Dingdown has chosen Baggy Trousers as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a hook but Dingdown avoids it easily.
Green lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dingdown takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dingdown on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dingdown throws a predictable looking body shot
and Green counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dingdown's knee momentarily.
Dingdown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fighters circling - Dingdown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Green throws a series of punches but Dingdown avoids them all with ease.
Dingdown cracks Green with an open hand slap.

It looks like Mr Green has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Green cracks Dingdown with a right hand to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dingdown. Green does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Green looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Green walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Green is rocked!
Dingdown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Green connects with a solid leg kick.
Dingdown is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Green like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Green from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Dingdown!
