Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramiro Jair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jair has chosen It's a fight as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neil Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ramiro Jair! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Hill. Jair has a takedown stuffed. Hill gets caught flat footed, as Jair shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hill is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jair with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jair landing with the ground and pound. Jair chips away with some ground and pound. Jair works over Hill with some ground and pound from guard. Jair has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jair distracts Hill with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hill is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jair scores with a couple of nice shots. Ground and pound from Jair. Jair lands strikes from half guard. Hill is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jair slips a nice elbow through Hill's hands, connecting with Hill's forehead.

Hill closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hill manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill scores with a spinning back kick! Jair takes a kick to the side of the head. Hill lands a leg kick that knocks Jair off balance momentarily. Jair fails with the takedown. Ramiro Jair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hill closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Neil Hill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jair changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hill tries to avoid it but Jair manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hill to the ground. Hill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hill moves into the clinch. Hill's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jair shoots in but Hill avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hill thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jair if he has to take too many more of those.

Jair drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hill pulls his leg out and moves away.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hill takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
