Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erin Dolor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wazza Rooney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Rooney darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dolor shoots in for a double leg but Rooney sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dolor rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rooney counters with a left to the body.
Rooney drives through and clinches with Dolor against the cage.

Dolor drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rooney pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erin Dolor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dolor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rooney did well to prevent Dolor getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dolor bucks up and throws Rooney to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Rooney lands with a nice combination. Dolor backs away looking to recover.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dolor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rooney moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dolor takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rooney swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dolor shoots in for a takedown but Rooney shows good takedown defense.
Rooney lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dolor circles away quickly and effectively.
Erin Dolor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dolor walks into a straight right hand from Rooney.
Rooney lands a left and a right that send Dolor crashing to the mat, dazed. Rooney thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dolor is rocked!
Rooney weaves into range and cracks Dolor right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Dolor goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Rooney is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wazza Rooney!
After winning the bout, Wazza Rooney thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
