Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jami Balkan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Weena!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balkan tries to bum rush Weena with a series of wild strikes but Weena uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Balkan throws a lazy right hand but Weena sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Weena lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Balkan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Weena misses with a head kick.
Balkan misses with a series of wild punches.
Good work by Balkan as he checks the leg kick.
Weena misses with a low kick.
Balkan misses with a straight right.
Weena throws a head kick that half lands.
Balkan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Weena takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Balkan lands a jab to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Weena swings widly with a right hand
and Balkan counters with a straight right hand.
Joe Weena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Balkan tests Weena's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Balkan works the jab nicely.
Weena is rocked!

Balkan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Weena looks gassed!
Balkan throws a right and a left that Weena avoids nicely.
Weena misses the shot to the body.
Balkan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Balkan cracks Weena with a hook to the temple - Weena is on wobbly legs here! Balkan swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Weena falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Balkan wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jami Balkan!
