Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

30 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johan Herberg!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taalasmaa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Herberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Taalasmaa.
Taalasmaa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Herberg but Herberg pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Herberg has Taalasmaa up against the cage in a clinch.
Taalasmaa is looking to control Herberg's arms but Herberg gets an underhook and turns him. Now Taalasmaa has his back to the cage.
Taalasmaa is fighting off a takedown attempt but Herberg is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Taalasmaa to the mat. Taalasmaa regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Herberg with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Taalasmaa has his foot on Herberg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Herberg works his way back into a safe position though.

Herberg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Taalasmaa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Taalasmaa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Herberg's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Herberg's back!
