The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sphinx ducks under a wild hook from Bellanca.
Bellanca misses with an uppercut.
Nice sprawl there from Sphinx as Bellanca shoots in.
Bellanca thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sphinx lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sphinx wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bellanca takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sphinx darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Bellanca throws a looping overhand right but Sphinx ducks down to avoid it.
Sphinx ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bellanca walks into a left hand.
Bellanca misses with a right hand
and Sphinx counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bellanca thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sphinx fails in his attempt to clinch.
No joy there for Bellanca, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bellanca misses with a combination
and Sphinx counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bellanca is breathing heavily.
Sphinx jabs Bellanca to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bellanca on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sphinx cracks Bellanca with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bellanca falls to his knees and Sphinx doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
