Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Hayl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayl tries to clinch up.
Dunn keeps the fight on the outside.
Dunn wants to clinch.
Hayl tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dunn was well out of range. Poor timing from Hayl.
A head kick misses from Hayl.
Dunn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dunn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dunn is looking to clinch but Hayl is avoiding it.

Hayl tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dunn swivels and escapes.

and Hayl counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hayl.
Hayl throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Dunn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Dunn.
Hayl on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hayl is looking to control Dunn's arms but Dunn gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hayl has his back to the cage.

Dunn is working for takedown but Hayl is calmly controlling the position for now.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hayl misses with a low kick as Dunn jumps back.

Hayl wants to get back to striking at distance but Dunn won't allow it.
Hayl lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dunn.

Dunn tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Hayl doesn't manage to clinch there - Dunn circles away.

Hayl looks to land a body kick but Dunn moved away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dunn doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hayl counters with a shoot takedown. Dunn fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Dunn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hayl drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dunn dives on top into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dunn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hayl is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dunn, into his guard.

That's time! Dunn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hayl throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dunn wants to clinch up but Hayl keeps it at a distance.

Michael Dunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hayl lands with a nice body punch.
Hayl tries to clinch up.
Hayl wants to clinch up but Dunn keeps it at a distance.

Hayl shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hayl showed some decent athleticism there.

Dunn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dunn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hayl lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hayl tries to free his leg and advance position but Dunn is retaining full guard.

Dunn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hayl is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dunn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hayl on the ground.

Hayl working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dunn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dunn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Johnny Hayl showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Dunn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hayl avoids it really well and circles away.

Hayl is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dunn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dunn!

Dunn has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hayl celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
